CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Single-game tickets and Sunday ACC Family Packages for the 2012 Virginia baseball season will go on sale Wednesday (Feb. 1) through the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office and online at VirginiaSports.com.

Customers may purchase tickets by visiting VirginiaSports.com, calling (800) 542-UVA1 or by visiting the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Tickets also will be sold at the Davenport Field ticket windows beginning two hours prior to each home game.

For weekend games (Friday through Monday), General Admission seats are $8 for adults and $6 for youth (18 and under), seniors (60 and over) and UVa faculty/staff (limit two with valid university ID). Tickets for groups (20+) are $5 each for Friday through Sunday games.

For Tuesday and Wednesday midweek games, General Admission tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for youth (18 and under), seniors (60 and over) and UVa faculty/staff (limit two with valid university ID). Tickets for groups (20+) are $4 each for Tuesday and Wednesday games.

Sunday ACC Family Packages are available for Sunday home games against Virginia Tech (March 11), Clemson (March 25), Wake Forest (April 8), North Carolina (April 15) and Georgia Tech (May 13). The Family Package offers four General Admission tickets and four concession vouchers (valid for 22 oz. soda and hot dog) for just $36. Additional tickets (including soda and hot dog) are available for $9 each.

General Admission season tickets also remain on sale. GA seats are located in the bleacher section along the right-field line, in the bleachers beyond the left- and right-field fences and on the grassy hillside along the left-field line. Prices for General Admission season tickets are $100 for adults and $75 for youth (18 and under), seniors (60 and over), faculty and staff.

All Reserved Seat (Sections 104-106) and Reserved Bleacher (Sections 101-103 and 107-109) seating areas are sold out on a season basis. Any Reserved tickets returned to the Athletics Ticket Office will be sold beginning two hours prior to each home game for $10 for Friday through Sunday games and $6 for Tuesday and Wednesday games. Fans with General Admission tickets may upgrade to Reserved seating for $4 per ticket for Friday through Sunday games and $2 per ticket for Tuesday and Wednesday games (subject to availability).

Ten Game Mini Packages also are available and allow fans to choose the 10 games that best fit their schedules, while saving up to 50 percent off single-game ticket prices. A General Admission 10 Game Mini Package is $40 per seat.

In addition to tickets for single games, the Davenport Club is now available for rental. Located on the suite level behind home plate, the Davenport Club seats 16 fans in an indoor environment, with an additional eight standing room tickets available for purchase. The Davenport Club package includes 16 tickets, four reserved lot parking passes, a baseball meal for 16, soda and water. The Cavaliers’ home schedule features 36 games and is highlighted by an ACC series against 2011 College World Series participant North Carolina, as well as weekend series against NCAA tournament qualifiers Clemson (March 23-25) and Georgia Tech (May 11-13) and non-conference games against 2011 regional qualifiers Wright State (March 2-3), Seton Hall (March 3-4) and James Madison (April 4). UVa’s home opener is Feb. 21 against William and Mary, while the first home weekend series is Feb. 24-26 against Monmouth.

Virginia opens its season Feb. 17-19 at the Caravelle Resort Tournament, hosted by Coastal Carolina.
