Women's Tennis Rained Out on Opening Day of Blue/Gray Classic

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The No. 12 Virginia women’s tennis team had its first match at the 2012 Blue/Gray Tennis Classic rained out on Friday. The Cavaliers’ (6-2) opening match against Auburn has been postponed to Saturday and the team will play a pair of matches that day.

Virginia, the tournament’s top seed, and Auburn will play at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The Cavaliers will play either Arizona or SMU in either a semifinal or consolation match at 4 p.m.

The tournament will conclude on Sunday.
