Sophomore guard Kelsey Wolfe (Germantown, Md.) checked in from the 2012 ACC Tournament in this installment of ‘Inside The Huddle.’ The Cavaliers face the Boston College Eagles on Thursday (March 1) at 8 p.m. in the first round of the tournament.

Last Friday was senior night for Chelsea [Shine] and Ari [Moorer] and it was the best feeling to let them go out with one last win in JPJ. We all came together and regrouped to come back from being down at half and pull out a great win for our seniors. Both Chelsea and Ari have been great friends and great teammates to all of us and it was just awesome to be able to give them that win against Wake Forest and continue to move forward to our goal of getting to the postseason.

The last part of the regular season was very important and we all knew we held our own destiny in our own hands. We knew we had to finish strong so that we could make a run in the postseason. The last three wins were great team efforts and showed how we have grown as a team. These wins are going to give us some good momentum going into the ACC Tournament and confidence that we need to turn some heads.

Ending the regular season with three solid wins has only made us more excited for the ACC Tournament. We have prepared this week by just focusing on one game at a time. We know that anything can happen and we have to be focused on what we have to do and take care of business. A lot is on the line but I believe that we are ready for the challenge and are ready to surprise some people.
