Priority Deadline – April 30

For priority, please place your season ticket order by April 30. Orders not received by this date will be considered late and subject to possible seat relocation or cancellation.

Seat Location

For 2012, all customers will be renewed into the same seats held in 2011 as long as the ticket application is received by the April 30 deadline and, for those seats in the Priority Sideline area, the level of giving has been maintained and all gifts are current with VAF.

Seat Improvements and Additional Seating for the Priority Sideline area

Season ticket holders in the Priority Sideline area who would like to improve their location or request additional season tickets will, NEW THIS YEAR, have a do-it-yourself online tool available for their use. Additional details will be provided with your renewal information.

Seat Improvements and Additional Seating for those outside the Priority Sideline area

Season ticket holders located outside the Priority Sideline area who would like to improve their location or request additional season tickets may place their request by using their personalized season ticket renewal application or by calling the Athletics Ticket Office. Those requests will be reviewed at the time the request is received.

Faculty/Staff Seating

Full-time University of Virginia faculty and staff are eligible to purchase a maximum of four discounted season tickets (ranging from $112 to $228). For 2012, all customers will be renewed into the same seats held in 2011 as long as the ticket application is received by the April 30 deadline and, for those seats in the Priority Sideline area, the level of giving has been maintained and all gifts are current with VAF. In addition to the Payment Plan option listed below, faculty/ staff also may use payroll deduction. Call the Athletics Ticket Office (924-8821) for more details

Payment Plan

Returning season ticket holders have the option to spread their payment over four or five months, whether renewing online or using the mailed, printed application. Season ticket orders must be in by the April 15 to take advantage of the five month payment plan offer and by the April 30 priority deadline to take advantage of the four month payment plan offer. A credit card must be given at the time of order and will be charged, for the five month plan, approximately the 15th of April, May, June, July, and August and, for the four month plan, approximately the 15th of May, June, July, and August.

Priority Sideline

New orders in this area (orange on the map) should be placed by April 30 to be included in the priority seating process. Click here for information on how to improve your seating priority by joining the Virginia Athletics Foundation. Season tickets will continue to be sold after April 30 until the supply is exhausted.

Public Lower/Upper Blue/Upper Yellow/Upper Pink

Season tickets in these areas are assigned as you place your order, so the sooner, the better. Season tickets will continue to be sold until the supply of tickets is exhausted.

Faculty/Staff Seating

Full-time University of Virginia faculty and staff are eligible to purchase a maximum of four discounted season tickets (ranging from $112-$228 each). See stadium diagram for all of the options. Virginia 2012 Football Season Ticket Payroll Deduction Plan Summary

University of Virginia Athletics, in partnership with University Human Resources and University Medical Center Human Resources, offers full-time U.Va faculty and staff a Payroll Deduction program to assist them in purchasing 2012 Virginia football season tickets. This interest-free program will enable qualified University/Medical Center employees to spread out payments over three months. All payments will be deducted automatically from the participating employee’s paycheck.

Payment Process

  1. Nine month faculty will have their pay deducted in three equal installments from the Sept. 30, Nov. 1, and Dec. 1, 2012 paychecks.
  2. All other faculty paid monthly will have their pay deducted in three equal installments from the Sept. 1, Sept. 30, and Nov. 1 paychecks.
  3. Staff paid bi-weekly will have their pay deducted in six equal installments from the Sept. 2, Sept. 16, Sept. 30, Oct. 14, Oct. 28, and Nov. 11 paychecks.
  4. Staff paid bi-weekly will have their pay deducted in six equal installments starting with the Aug 31, 2012 paycheck for Academic Employees and the September 7, 2012 paycheck for Medical Center Employees.
  5. For individuals no longer employed by the University of Virginia or the University of Virginia Medical Center before the completion of the Payroll Deduction period, the FULL REMAINING AMOUNT will be due and payable immediately upon their departure. Season tickets purchased via Virginia Athletics Payroll Deduction will be void until paid in full.
  6. In the event of bankruptcy, the employee understands and agrees that Virginia Athletics has the right to receive payment on any remaining debt resulting from participation in the payroll deduction program. The remaining debt will be secured as defined by federal bankruptcy law.

Criteria for Eligibility. The following conditions must be met for an individual to be eligible for the Virginia Football Season Tickets Payroll Deduction Program:

  1. The employee must be a nine, 10, 11 or 12-month full-time faculty or staff member with benefits, employed at U.Va or the U.Va Medical Center for a minimum of one year.
  2. A minimum purchase of $198.00 with a 25 percent deposit is required. The amount deducted cannot exceed $3,000.
  3. There are NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES on tickets purchased via payroll deduction.
  4. No more than two open transactions are allowed at a time.
  5. Tickets will become void during the season if payment is not made.

Virginia Athletics Foundation (VAF) Season Parking

Cavalier Club donors ($600-1,249) are now eligible to apply for football reserved parking in the North I and Brandon lots. All other reserved parking lots require a minimum gift of $1,250. Click here for details.

Youth Tickets

Season

‘Hoos on the Hill season tickets are available for Youth 18 and under. ‘Hoos on the Hill are general admission season tickets on the grassy north hillside and include all seven games on the home schedule. Quantities are limited.

Single Game

Youth single game tickets are not offered due to the large demand for ‘Hoos on the Hill and the space limitations of the hillside.

Family Packages

Beginning July 20, family packages will be available for games with Richmond, Louisiana Tech, Wake Forest, and Maryland. Each Family Package includes 4 tickets and 4 concession vouchers (valid for 22 oz. soda and hot dog). See stadium diagram for seat locations corresponding to color description.

Single Game Tickets

Home Games

Virginia Athletics Foundation donors and/or football season ticket holders will be able order single game tickets for any home game starting March 21. The general public sale of single game tickets will start July 20, online only, until July 23, at which time they may be purchased by phone or in person.

Away Games

Virginia Athletics Foundation donors and/or season ticket holders will be able to order single game tickets for any away game starting March 19 via follow-up communication. The general public sale of away game tickets will start July 20, online only, until July 23, at which time they may also be purchased by phone or in person.

Group Tickets

Starting May 14, round up 20 or more friends, co-workers, church members, teammates and Virginia football becomes very affordable with a 20% discount. Get your group up to 50+ and watch the savings jump to 30%. Got a reunion on the horizon with at least 100 or more coming to town? You just saved 40%. Graduated group ticket discounting has arrived at Scott Stadium and is available for any home game, except Penn State. In addition to exciting entertainment with a price break thrown in, your group will also find its name in lights on ‘Hoo Vision. Postseason Tickets

As the Cavaliers approach bowl eligibility during the 2012 season, postseason game ticket information will be sent to all current Virginia Athletics Foundation donors and football season ticket holders. This includes information on both the ACC championship game and a bowl game. Also visit VirginaSports.com throughout the season to obtain the latest information on postseason ticket options.

General Information

Order Confirmation and Refunds

Orders placed via VirginiaSports.com will receive immediate confirmation. For mail and phone orders, your credit card statement or cancelled check will serve as your confirmation. Should demand exceed supply for any tickets ordered, you will receive timely notification and a refund will be processed for the price of the tickets ordered.

Cavalier Chairbacks

Any season ticket holder may purchase a cushioned chairback for any seats held as season tickets. Online and paper applications accommodate these orders, or you may call the Ticket Office to place your chairback order. After indicating the number of chairbacks you would like, they will be waiting for you on September 1 at the Richmond game and remain on your seats all season long.

Garage Parking

The solicitation of Virginia Athletics Foundation donors and football season ticket holders will include the opportunity for those groups to apply for parking spaces in the Emmet/Ivy garage and Health System garages.

Virginia Ticket Marketplace

This season ticket benefit allows customers, starting approximately August 8, to list for sale tickets to games they are unable to attend. Click here to enter the Virginia Ticket Marketplace.

Virginia Ticket Return

Last minute change in plans? Can’t attend a game? Donate your season tickets for that particular game back to the Virginia Athletics Foundation, starting approximately August 8, so that another Cavalier fan can attend the game. Click here to return tickets to VAF.

Virginia Ticket Transfer

This season ticket benefit allows customers, starting approximately August 8, to electronically send their tickets for a particular game to another customer of their choosing. Click here to transfer tickets.

Delivery of Tickets

Season tickets will be mailed on or about August 6. Single game tickets will be mailed no later than ten (10) days prior to the game. Orders placed within seven (7) days of the event will have will call and print-at-home as delivery options; mail is not an option that close to the event.

Address Changes

In order to ensure the proper mailing of season tickets, it is your responsibility to inform the Athletics Ticket Office of any changes in your address by the season ticket priority deadline of April 30. Manage your account information online by clicking here.

Priority

Orders from Virginia Athletics Foundation donors meeting specific deadlines are prioritized according to their priority points as established by the Virginia Athletics Foundation. General public orders are prioritized on a date-received basis.

Customer Numbers

To receive full priority, ticket orders and all correspondence with the Athletics Ticket Office should include your customer number and be made in the same name as previous orders. If you donate to the Virginia Athletics Foundation in a different name, please make note of it. Online orders should be made by signing in to your correct customer account and not by creating a new account.

Group Seating

Individuals desiring group seating should return their orders together. Each order should reference the other individuals in the group. The group will be seated according to the priority of the group member with the lowest priority.

Game Times/Dates

Game times and dates are subject to change. Refunds will not be made because of a time or date change.

Admission Policies

Any patron having reached their second birthday requires a ticket. Virginia maintains a no re-entry policy at all football games. Admission is subject to inspection and search of prohibited items. More detailed information is available at VirginiaSports.com

UVA Student Tickets

UVA students present their valid University student ID card at the student gates at Scott Stadium for their admission. To purchase student guest tickets, students utilize SHOTS (Student Hoops Online Ticketing System) to request tickets. Student guest tickets for all seven home games go on sale starting April 16 for 1st -3rd year students and August 22 for incoming students. Students and their guests have access, as general admission seating at Scott Stadium, to sections 101-105 and sections 501-503, plus the grassy North hillside.

March 19 Season ticket sale begins.
April 14 Orange-Blue spring football scrimmage. Gates open at noon, with the scrimmage starting at 2:00 p.m. There will be no charge for the Orange-Blue spring football scrimmage.
April 30 Season Ticket Priority Deadline, as well as priority deadline for submitting single game orders and parking/chairback orders. Virginia Athletics Foundation deadline for contributions to count towards 2012 football priority seating.
May 14 Group single game tickets on sale.
July 20 Family packages accepted on a first-come, first served basis for Richmond, Louisiana Tech, Wake Forest, and Maryland.
July 20 Home and away single game tickets on sale to the general public via VirginiaSports.com only for remaining available games.

Season tickets will be mailed on or about August 6. Single game tickets will be mailed no later than ten (10) days prior to the game. Orders placed within seven (7) days of the event will have will call and print-at-home as delivery options; mail is not an option that close to the event.

Address Changes

In order to ensure the proper mailing of season tickets, it is your responsibility to inform the Athletics Ticket Office of any changes in your address by the season ticket priority deadline of April 30. Manage your account information online by clicking here.

Priority

Orders from Virginia Athletics Foundation donors meeting specific deadlines are prioritized according to their priority points as established by the Virginia Athletics Foundation. General public orders are prioritized on a date-received basis.

Customer Numbers

To receive full priority, ticket orders and all correspondence with the Athletics Ticket Office should include your customer number and be made in the same name as previous orders. If you donate to the Virginia Athletics Foundation in a different name, please make note of it. Online orders should be made by signing in to your correct customer account and not by creating a new account.

Group Seating

Individuals desiring group seating should return their orders together. Each order should reference the other individuals in the group. The group will be seated according to the priority of the group member with the lowest priority.

Game Times/Dates

Game times and dates are subject to change. Refunds will not be made because of a time or date change.

Admission Policies

Any patron having reached their second birthday requires a ticket. Virginia maintains a no re-entry policy at all football games. Admission is subject to inspection and search of prohibited items. More detailed information is available at VirginiaSports.com

UVA Student Tickets

UVA students present their valid University student ID card at the student gates at Scott Stadium for their admission. To purchase student guest tickets, students utilize SHOTS (Student Hoops Online Ticketing System) to request tickets. Student guest tickets for all seven home games go on sale starting August 24. Students and their guests have access, as general admission seating at Scott Stadium, to sections 101-105 and sections 501-503, plus the grassy North hillside.

March 19 Season ticket sale begins.
April 14 Spring Football Festival at Scott Stadium. Gates open at 11 a.m. There will not be a charge for the Spring Football game.
April 30 Season Ticket Priority Deadline, as well as priority deadline for submitting single game orders and parking/chairback orders. Virginia Athletics Foundation deadline for contributions to count towards 2012 football priority seating.
May 14 Group single game tickets on sale.
July 20 Family packages accepted on a first-come, first served basis for Richmond, Louisiana Tech, Wake Forest, and Maryland.
July 20 Home and away single game tickets on sale to the general public via VirginiaSports.com only for remaining available games.
July 23 Home and away single game tickets on sale to the general public via phone/ window for remaining available home games.
August 6 Season tickets mailed via USPS priority mail on or about this date.
