Charlottesville, VA – With a large number of home athletics events slated for Saturday, March 24, the Virginia athletics department would like its fans to be aware of the following information regarding parking, tickets and gate openings for those activities.

Tickets
The field hockey tournament, track & field meet, rowing scrimmage and softball games are all free to the public.

Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets for the baseball and men’s lacrosse contests in advance to guarantee admission as capacity crowds are expected. Tickets can be purchased at any time online at Virginiasports.com, in person at the main Virginia Athletics Ticket Office located in Bryant Hall (Scott Stadium) between 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday, or by phone by calling 800-524-8821 between 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday.

Tickets for baseball and men’s lacrosse may also be purchased on Saturday online at VirginiaSports.com up until three hours prior to each game or in person starting at 11 a.m. from the Klöckner/Davenport Ticket Office. A temporary ticket booth will also be located in the corner of the John Paul Jones Arena parking lot at the intersection of Copeley and Massie Roads and will open at 12:30 p.m. for lacrosse tickets only.

Virginia baseball General Admission seats are $8 for adults and $6 for youth (18 and under), seniors (60 and over) and UVa faculty/staff (limit two with valid university ID). Tickets for groups (20+) are $5 each for Friday through Sunday games.

Virginia men’s lacrosse single-game tickets are $8 (adult General Admission) and $6 (youth, seniors, faculty/staff General Admission). All Reserved Seats are sold out for the 2012 season.

Gate Openings
Gates will open for the baseball game at 11 a.m. and for the men’s lacrosse game at 12:30 p.m.

Parking
Public parking for baseball, men’s lacrosse and track & field will be available in the University Hall, JPJA and McCue parking lots as well as the Emmett/Ivy Garage. With capacity crowds expected for the baseball and men’s lacrosse games, fans are encouraged to arrive early.
