Boston College is 18-10 and 0-3 in the ACC after being swept at Georgia Tech last weekend to open conference play. Following its series with the Yellow Jackets, BC rebounded to sweep Dartmouth in a Wednesday doubleheader by scores of 2-1 and 11-0. The meeting with the Cavaliers will be the first conference series at home for the Eagles this season.

Senior Brittany Wilkins leads Boston College at the plate with a .387 and 20 RBI while junior Nicole D’Argento is hitting .348 with 20 RBI and five home runs. The Eagles have some depth on the mound with D’Argento (8-6, 3.03 ERA), sophomore Amanda Horowitz (7-4, 4.10 ERA) and senior Morgan Kidd (2-0, 1.16 ERA).

The Eagles lead the all-time series with UVa, 9-6. Last year in Charlottesville, Boston College earned the three-game sweep by scores of 9-3, 11-3 and 7-6.
