CHARLOTTESVILLE – The No. 13 Virginia women’s tennis team concludes its regular season home schedule this week by hosting a pair of ACC rivals at the Snyder Tennis Center. The Cavaliers play No. 25 Georgia Tech on Friday at 2 p.m., and No. 24 Clemson on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Prior to Saturday’s match with Clemson, a Senior Day ceremony will honor Emily Fraser (Rye, N.Y.) and Lindsey Hardenbergh (Fairfax Station, Va.) before their final regular season home match.

Virginia enters the weekend with a record of 14-4 overall, 5-2 in the ACC. With one more regular season victory, the Cavaliers would secure their third consecutive winning season in conference play, a feat they haven’t accomplished since the early 1980s.

Georgia Tech enters Friday’s match with a 9-9 record (3-4 ACC). The Cavaliers and Yellow Jackets met once before this season, a 4-1 Virginia victory in February at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships at the Boar’s Head Sports Club. Clemson, who visits Virginia Tech on Friday before coming to Charlottesville, enters the weekend with an 11-8 record (4-3 ACC).

Admission to all Virginia tennis home matches is free. Fans attending the matches can park for free in the Culbreth Garage.
