Charlottesville, VA – With several home athletics events slated for Friday, April 13, the Virginia athletics department would like its fans to be aware of the following information regarding traffic, parking, tickets and gate openings as they prepare to attend those contests.

Events
The third-ranked Virginia men’s tennis team faces No. 29 Florida State at the Snyder Tennis Courts starting at 3 p.m. The top-ranked UVa men’s lacrosse team hosts seventh-ranked Duke Friday at 6 p.m. at Klöckner Stadium. At the same time, the Cavaliers’ 23rd-ranked baseball team starts a three-game series with ninth-ranked North Carolina at Davenport Field.

Traffic Parking
Free public parking for men’s tennis is available at the Culbreth Garage and Emmet/Ivy Garage. The Central Grounds Garage will also be available, but hourly rates apply for that facility.

Free public parking for the baseball and men’s lacrosse games is available in the University Hall, John Paul Jones Arena, and McCue parking lots and Emmet/Ivy Garage.
Due to parking in these lots by University employees, there is likely to be limited parking in these lots through the end of the workday.

Traffic is expected to be heavy in the areas adjacent to University Hall and John Paul Jones Arena as University employees exit the parking lots and fans arrive for the baseball and men’s lacrosse games. Additional personnel will be in place to help manage egress out of and ingress into the parking lots. Fans are encouraged to allow themselves extra time to arrive in advance of the start of these games.

Gate Openings
Gates open at 4 p.m. for the men’s lacrosse and baseball games.
