CHARLOTTESVILLE – Virginia senior midfielder Julie Gardner (Severna Park, Md.) and senior attacker Josie Owen (Gibson Island, Md.) have been named to the All-ACC women’s lacrosse team, the conference announced on Thursday (April 19).

Gardner and Owen are co-captains for the Cavaliers this season. UVa, seeded fourth and ranked 11th, faces fifth-seeded and 17th-ranked Boston College in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals on Friday (April 20) at noon in Durham, N.C.

Gardner has scored 14 goals and dished out 12 assists for 26 points this season. She has also reached double digits in ground balls (13) and draw controls (11) and has caused seven turnovers.
