CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.-The top-ranked Virginia rowing team travels to Clemson, S.C., for the 13th annual ACC Rowing Championships on Lake Hartwell Saturday (April 21), beginning at 9 a.m. The Cavaliers are looking for their third straight conference title and 12th overall ACC crown.

The regatta will be available by live video stream beginning with the first race at 9 a.m., and will be linked through VirginiaSports.com.

Coming into the meet, Virginia has the best times in each of the four events, including the first Varsity Eight (6:14.50), the second Varsity Eight (6:32.00), the first Varsity Four (7:01.60) and the Novice Eight (6:36.80).

The Cavaliers are coming off a strong performance last weekend at the UVa Invitational on Lake Monticello, where they won 16 races, including a sweep of five races against No. 14 Cornell and 19th-ranked Minnesota on Sunday (April 15).

Six ACC schools compete for the ACC rowing title with Boston College, Clemson, Duke, Miami and North Carolina joining UVa.

Virginia has won 44 of the 48 races held at the previous 12 ACC championships, which the conference started in 2000.
