Virginia-VCU Game Cancelled
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia-VCU baseball game, scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday at Davenport Field, has been cancelled because of field conditions and the forecast for additional inclement weather in Charlottesville throughout the day on Tuesday. The game will not be rescheduled.
Since this is the last regular-season game, the following ticketing policy is in effect. All remaining ticket buyers for this game will receive a refund. Refunds will be processed after June 15 to the original credit card account on file. In the event a credit card account is not on file, checks will be mailed to the address on the ticket buyer’s customer account.
Regional all-session ticket books go on sale Tuesday (May 15) for $60 for reserved seating and $45 for general admission seating, while Super Regional all-session ticket books may be purchased for $36 for reserved seating and $24 for general admission seating.
All 2012 Virginia baseball season ticket holders may purchase reserved ticket books through the May 21 priority-seating deadline. If reserved ticket books remain available after the priority deadline, they will be sold to the general public beginning Wednesday, May 23.
