CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Game one of the 2012 NCAA Charlottesville Regional between Virginia and Army is currently suspended. The game was delayed at 11:15 a.m. due to rain.

The NCAA has suspended the contest until further notice because of pending inclement weather. The NCAA and UVa will continue to evaluate the weather and try to determine a time to resume play later today.

The contest was delayed in the bottom of the first inning, with UVa batting and with no outs. Chris Taylor led off the inning with a walk. The umpires delayed the game when the following hitter, Branden Cogswell, was at the plate with a 1-1 count. The game is currently scoreless.

Fans should retain their ticket stubs for reentry into Davenport Field.
