CHARLOTTESVILLE – Virginia seniors Emily Fraser (Rye, N.Y.) and Lindsey Hardenbergh (Fairfax Station, Va.) were named to the All-ACC Academic Women’s Tennis Team, conference officials announced Thursday. Hardenbergh was named to the team for the third consecutive year, while Fraser was honored for the second straight year.

Fraser and Hardenbergh were both 2012 All-ACC selections and participated in both the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships. They led the Cavaliers to a 20-8 overall record and the round of 16 of NCAA Tournament.

Hardenbergh concluded her four years as Virginia’s career leader in singles wins (127), doubles wins (126) and combined wins (253). Fraser ended her career second in doubles wins (119) and combined wins (221), and is third in singles wins (102).

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.
