Charlottesville, Va. – Virginia Sports Properties, the multi-media rights holder for Virginia athletics, announced today the addition of WXVA 610 AM in Winchester to its lineup of affiliates. The Virginia Sports Network consists of 17 affiliates throughout the Commonwealth.The station will air Virginia football and men’s basketball games and broadcast the weekly Cavalier Coaches shows produced by Virginia Sports Properties.

WXVA is owned by Winchester Radio Broadcasters, LLC. Its signal stretches from the western edges of the District of Columbia and throughout the Shenandoah Valley from the eastern panhandle of West Virginia to Woodstock, Va.

“We are excited and proud to be a part of UVa athletics,” said WXVA station manager Joe Sanchez. “The addition of the Cavaliers to our programming reinforces our commitment to bringing our listeners the best!”
