CHARLOTTESVILLE – Virginia men’s basketball mini-packages for the 2012-13 season go on sale Monday, Oct. 1. Mini-packages are available in the upper level of John Paul Jones Arena and include two five-game packages and a season-opening three-game package option. A pre-sale Select-A-Seat event will be held at John Paul Jones Arena on Saturday, Sept. 29 from 1-3 p.m. The best seats will be tagged for each mini-package in each price level and fans can purchase in advance of the Monday, Oct. 1 public sale. Free parking will be available in the arena’s main lot on Saturday.

The Power 5 Package includes Virginia’s games with Tennessee (Wednesday, Dec. 5), Florida State (Saturday, Jan. 19), North Carolina State (Tuesday, Jan. 29), Virginia Tech (Tuesday, Feb. 12) and Duke (Thursday, Feb. 28). The package is available in four price levels that range from $89-$150 and includes savings of 6-10 percent off the single-game ticket prices.

The Weekend Package features UVa’s match-ups with Green Bay (Saturday, Dec. 1), North Carolina (Sunday, Jan. 6), Boston College (Saturday, Jan. 26), Georgia Tech (Sunday, Feb. 24) and Maryland (Sunday, March 10). This package is available in four price levels that range from $89-$165 and includes savings of 7-8 percent off the single-game ticket prices.

New for the 2012-13 season, a Tip-Off Package is available that features Virginia’s first three home games against Fairfield (Monday, Nov. 12), the second game of the NIT Season Tip-Off against Delaware or Penn (Tuesday, Nov. 13), and Seattle (Saturday, Nov. 17). The package is available in the upper level for $30 and includes savings of 33 to 38 percent off the single-game ticket prices.

Season tickets are on sale now for Virginia’s 17-game home schedule. Season tickets are available in the upper level of John Paul Jones Arena for $165, $215, $340 and $435 and provide the best value with savings of 15 to 45 percent off single-game ticket prices. UVa faculty and staff are eligible to receive an additional 20 percent discount on season tickets and there is also a $132 young alumni season ticket option for 2008-2012 Virginia graduates.

Fans can purchase mini-package tickets online at VirginiaSports.com starting at 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1. In-person or telephone purchases also begin Oct. 1 at 9 a.m. by calling 1-800-542-UVA1 (8821) or locally at 434-924-UVA1 (8821) or in-person at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium.
