In the days leading up to the Senior Day game against Princeton, VirginiaSports.com will have profiles of all five seniors. Today we hear from Michelle Vittese.

The midfielder from Cherry Hill, N.J. is tied for tenth on the Cavalier career assist list with 26. She has also scored 25 goals during her four-year career. She is a two-time all-american and a two-time All-ACC honoree. She was named the ACC Player of the Week this season after scoring four unassisted goals in a pair of games against Maryland and Saint Joseph’s. A current member of the US Women’s National team, she won a gold medal at the 2011 Pan Am games and competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

The Cavaliers conclude the regular season on Sunday, Oct. 28 when they host No. 2 Princeton at 3 p.m. There will be a ceremony after the game to honor all five members of the 2012 senior class. Admission is free to all 2012 regular-season home games at Turf Field.
