CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The University of Virginia men’s basketball team will compete in the 2013 Corpus Christi Challenge, it was announced Monday by the Corpus Christi Convention & Visitors Bureau.

The tournament format includes four games for each team with two games held at campus sites and two games held at the American Bank Center Arena.

Virginia joins Texas A&M, SMU, Missouri State, Hampton, Liberty, Sam Houston State and Arkansas Pine Bluff in the inaugural eight-team field that will conclude play Nov. 29-30 during Thanksgiving weekend in Corpus Christi, Texas.
