Head coach Joanne Boyle

“It was a great win for us, to come on the road and play against such a good team. They pressure you for forty minutes. We didn’t always take care of the ball, but when we did, I thought we took advantage of it. It was a great road win in a tough environment.”

On the play of Kelsey Wolfe
“She is playing with confidence. She wants the ball in her hands when we need big buckets. She always knows the time and place and time and score. She really took over the game when we needed her to. Her confidence, her play calling, and her willingness to make big shots.n And she hit them. Everyone has a role with this team and one of the things she needs to do is hit big shots for us, which she did.”

On the play of Telia McCall
“I thought she had an overall great game for us. She did great things on both ends of the floor. She rebounded. She had a double-double for us. I went to her when we needed some key baskets. She delivered or got fouled. I thought she really played smart.”

On the play of Simone Egwu

“She didn’t do a lot in the scoring column, but that is okay because she had 15 rebounds. She was a monster on the boards and every time we needed a big stop and they took a bad shot, Simone had the rebound. Kudos to her. I thought she did a great job on the boards for us.”

Senior forward Telia McCall

“I felt like it came natural. I didn’t know I had a double-double until it was over. I am so grateful. Wow. Two times in a row! It was the team. We all looked for each other, knocking down the open shots. I am grateful my shots fell and we played great team offense and defense.”

“I was basically in the zone. I was playing like I did in high school where I just went out there and shot. Shoot to make it.”
