CHARLOTTESVILLE – Three members of the top-ranked Virginia men’s tennis team will step outside collegiate competition this weekend and play in the Challenger of Dallas, a stop on the USTA Pro Circuit. Alex Domijan (Wesley Chapel, Fla.), Jarmere Jenkins (College Park, Ga.) and Mac Styslinger (Birmingham, Ala.) will compete in the qualifying draw, beginning Saturday at the T Bar M Racquet Club.

The event’s main draw is headlined by former world top-10 James Blake, who is joined by current world top 100 players Go Soeda, Jesse Levine and Michael Russell.

It is the second time Virginia players have traveled to Texas to play the event. In 2011, Domijan and Jenkins both reached the main draw through qualifying.

The Cavaliers will return to team competition in two weeks for the ITA National Team Indoor Championships. The event, which Virginia won four straight years from 2008-2011, will be held this year Feb. 15-18 in Seattle at the University of Washington.
