CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.—Virginia volleyball head coach Dennis Hohenshelt announced Thursday (Feb. 28) that Lauren Fuller, a transfer from the University of Arizona, is set to join the Cavaliers for the 2013 fall season. Fuller is the twin sister of UVa rising sophomore Manon Greskovics-Fuller.

“We are very excited that Lauren has decided to join the UVa volleyball program,” Hohenshelt said. “Lauren gained valuable experience setting for a year in the Pac-12 and I hope that she will come in and use that knowledge to help make us better.”

Fuller, a native of Manhattan Beach, Calif., tallied 539 assists and 133 digs in 29 matches for the Wildcats. She was ranked No. 48 on PrepVolleyball.com’s Senior Ace List and was named the VolleyballNow.com Southern California High School Player of the Year in 2011.

With Fuller’s addition, the Cavalier incoming class has grown to seven, joining Jasmine Burton (West Hills, Calif.), Haley Kole (Tallahassee, Fla.), Meghan McDowell (Clarendon, Ill.), Lexi Riccolo (Wheaton, Ill.), Karlie Suber (Mechanicsville, Va.) and Alex Thorson (The Woodlands, Texas).
