CALABASAS, Calif. – Former Virginia men’s tennis player Sanam Singh (Class of 2011) captured both the singles and doubles titles at this week’s USTA Pro Circuit event in Calabasas. It was Singh’s sixth career Futures Tour singles title, and his first doubles title as a professional.

In the singles final, Singh topped 2010 NCAA Singles Champion Bradley Klahn 6-4, 1-6, 7-6(3). Singh trailed 3-0 in the third set and Klahn served for the match at 5-4 in the final set before Singh broke to even the match. After both players held, Singh won the decisive tiebreaker to win the championship.

In the doubles final, Singh teamed with former Alabama standout Saketh Myneni to win the title. They topped Yong-Kyu Lim and Ji Sung Nam 6-7, 6-2, 14-12 in the final on Sunday.
