CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.– The final game of the Virginia-NC State baseball series at Davenport Field, originally scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, has been moved to 11 a.m. Sunday because of a forecast for inclement weather. The game originally was slated to be televised by ESPNU, but it no longer will be broadcast.

ACC game-management protocol stresses that every effort should be made to complete all three games in a conference series. With a high probability for inclement weather starting Sunday afternoon and lasting through Monday, this change will give the teams the best opportunity to complete the game.

Fans for the baseball game should arrive early to avoid traffic congestion in the area because of the men’s basketball NIT second-round game at John Paul Jones Arena that also starts at 11 a.m.

Tickets for the Monday game will be accepted Sunday. Fans with tickets for the Monday game that cannot attend the game Sunday may exchange their tickets in advance for a General Admission ticket to any other regular season game by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 542-8821 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or bring their ticket stubs to the gate for General Admission seating at any remaining regular season home game, subject to seat availability at the time of arrival.

Parking will be available in the University Hall, McCue and Cage lots as well as the Emmet/Ivy Garage.

Tickets are on sale at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office. Customers may purchase tickets online at VirginiaSports.com, calling (800) 542-UVA1 or by visiting the ticket office in Bryant Hall during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Tickets will also be sold at the Davenport Field ticket windows beginning two hours prior to each home game.

Live video will be available for the Sunday game on VirginiaSports.com with a subscription to Cavaliers Live. Live statistics (GameTracker) also will be available on VirginiaSports.com.
