Charlottesville, Va. – The 15th-ranked Virginia women’s golf team travels to Greensboro, N.C. this weekend to play in the Bryan National Collegiate held on the Champions Course at Bryan Park Golf and Enrichment Center. The 54-hole tournament is schedule to run Friday, March 29 through Sunday, March 31. Play begins at 8:20 a.m. the first two days and concludes with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start Sunday.

The tournament is UVa’s final regular season event before the ACC Championships, set for April 19-21. A total of 15 of the 18 teams participating in the Bryant National Collegiate are ranked in the current Golfstat top-50 poll.

This year’s field includes No. 6 Arkansas, No. 43 Auburn, No. 2 Duke, No. 5 Florida, No. 42 Florida State, No. 19 Georgia, Louisville, No. 26 Michigan State, No. 29 Northwestern, No. 9 North Carolina, No. 23 NC State, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, No. 47 South Carolina, No. 30 Tennessee, No. 7 Vanderbilt, and No. 46 Wake Forest.

The Cavaliers’ lineup features Portland Rosen, Brittany Altomare, Briana Mao, Nicole Agnello and Elizabeth Brightwell. Altomare leads UVa with a 72.52 stroke average that has her ranked 20th in the latest Golfweek standings.

Last year Virginia placed 11th in the 17-team field. Live scoring of the tournament will be online at Golfstat.com.
