CHARLOTTESVILLE – The top-ranked Virginia men’s tennis team concludes its regular season home schedule this week with a pair of matches at the Snyder Tennis Center. The Cavaliers host No. 25 Clemson on Friday at 3 p.m. and Georgia Tech on Saturday at noon.

The Cavaliers (17-0, 6-0 ACC) enter the weekend having won 99 consecutive matches against ACC competition and will look to reach the 100-win milestone on Friday against Clemson. It would mark the second time in ACC history that a team has had a win streak of 100 in any sport. The Duke women’s tennis team had a 116-match ACC win streak from 1989 to 2000. Virginia’s last loss to a conference foe was in the 2006 ACC Tournament final, a 4-3 setback to Duke.

Saturday’s match is senior day for the men’s tennis program. Fourth-year’s Dino Dell’Orto (Hong Kong, China), Brian Fang (Hacienda Heights, Calif.), Jarmere Jenkins (College Park. Ga.) and Julen Uriguen (Guatemala City, Guatemala) will be recognized between the doubles and singles matches. Saturday is also Cavman’s Crew Day and there will be inflatable games, a face-painter, and a balloon artist for youth.

Clemson is No. 25 in the latest ITA rankings, and is 15-4 overall and 4-2 in the conference. Georgia Tech is 8-12 overall and 1-6 in the ACC as they visit Virginia Tech on Friday before coming to Charlottesville.

Admission to all home tennis matches is free. Free parking for outdoor matches at the Snyder Tennis Center is available at the Culbreth Parking Garage. Hourly paid parking is also available in the Central Grounds Garage.
