CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The schedule for the Virginia-Florida State baseball series at Davenport Field has been altered because of inclement weather Friday. The series is now scheduled to begin with a doubleheader at 1 p.m. Saturday (April 20).

The second game of the doubleheader will start approximately 40 minutes after the conclusion of the first game Saturday. The teams are slated to play the 1 p.m. Sunday game as originally scheduled.

Tickets for the Friday game will be accepted for the first game of the Saturday doubleheader. Fans with tickets for the Friday game that cannot attend the first game on Saturday may exchange their tickets in advance for a General Admission ticket to any other regular season game by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 542-8821 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or bring their ticket stubs to the gate for General Admission seating at any remaining regular season home game, subject to seat availability at the time of arrival.

Please note both the second game Saturday as well as the Sunday contest against FSU are sold out.

Tickets are on sale for the first game through the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office. Customers may purchase tickets online at VirginiaSports.com. If available, tickets will also be sold at the Davenport Field ticket windows beginning two hours prior to the game.
