Charlottesville, Va. – Virginia women’s golfer has been named to the 2013 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Team as announced by the ACC today. It marks the second consecutive year the Nellysford, Va., native has been honored by the conference office.

In 2012-13 she played in all 10 tournaments for the Cavaliers and helped Virginia reach the NCAA Regionals. She posted a stroke average of 76.07 and had the team’s lowest round against par, shooting 4-under 68 to lead Virginia to the Bryan National Collegiate title in March. She placed fourth at that event, turning in a career-best score of even par 216.

To be eligible for consideration for the team a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintain a cumulative 3.00 average during her academic career.
