PLOVDIV, Bulgaria – Former Virginia men’s tennis player Teddy Angelinos (Class of 2008) won his fifth career singles title on the Futures Tour, taking the championship at this week’s Plovdiv Cup.

Angelinos, the tournament’s No. 1 seed, won five matches to win the championship. In the final he downed fifth-seeded Gleb Sakharov of France, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.

Angelinos is a career-high No. 355 in this week’s ATP singles rankings.
