CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that Virginia’s Sept. 28 road football game against Pitt will kick off at 12:30 p.m. and be televised on Regional Sports Networks. In the Mid-Atlantic region the game will air on Comcast SportsNet.

UVa returns to action on Saturday against VMI for Military Appreciation Day at Scott Stadium. On Target Parachute Demonstration Team, out of Tullahoma, Tenn., will be performing pre-game. Inside the east and west gates, fans will have the opportunity to sign banners that will be sent to military bases. The Cavalier Marching Band’s halftime show will have a patriotic theme and pre-recorded “shout out” videos from military personnel will be played throughout the game.

Tickets are on sale for the Virginia-VMI game at four price levels from $19-38. There is a special Military Appreciation Day ticket offer for this game for active and former military personnel for $19 per ticket. Family packages are also on sale for this game. Family Package tickets are also on sale for $76 or $88. Each family package includes four upper level end zone tickets and four concessions vouchers valued at $8 each that may be used toward any concessions purchase at Scott Stadium. Family Packages feature a savings of $32 per package. Additional Family Package tickets above the minimum of four may be purchased for $19 or $22 each.
