Purchase Tickets

Charlottesville, Va. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today Virginia’s home football game at Ball State on Saturday, Oct. 5 will start at noon. The game will be broadcast by regional sports networks.

The following information is confirmed regarding ACC Football games to be played Oct. 5 (All times Eastern):

Saturday, October 5
Ball State at Virginia, RSN, 12:00 p.m.
North Carolina at Virginia Tech, ACC Network, 12:30 p.m.
Army at Boston College, ESPN3, 1 p.m.
NC State at Wake Forest, RSN, 3:30 p.m.

The ACC also announced that ESPN has used one of its six-day options for this year and is holding three games on Oct. 5. The game times and networks for those games will be announced no later than by this Sunday, Sept. 29.

Saturday, October 5
Clemson at Syracuse, TBA, Six Day Option*
Maryland at Florida State, TBA, Six-Day Option*
Georgia Tech at Miami, TBA, Six Day Option*

The Ball State game is Youth Day at Scott Stadium. The first 4,000 kids in eighth grade and under will receive a free youth program upon entry. There will be balloon artists and face-painting inside the east and west gates. Giveaways for youth eighth grade and under will take place throughout the game. More than 150 items will be given away, including jerseys, mini-footballs, signed posters, foam fingers and vouchers for food and beverages at concession stands.

To register youth for the drawings in advance of the game, ticket purchasers should email the ticket holder name, youth name, current youth grade, and the ticket holder’s address, phone number, and seat location to cavforce@virginia.edu by Friday, Oct. 4 at noon. Only youth eighth grade and under in attendance at the game will be eligible to win the raffle prizes.

Cavalier Fan Fest in the gymnasium at the Aquatic & Fitness Center located across the street from Scott Stadium’s north gate will open three hours before kickoff. Cavalier Fan Fest includes inflatable games, sign-making, face tattoos and other activities for youth. Admission to Cavalier Fan Fest is free.

At halftime of the game, a youth football scrimmage will take place.

Members of UVa’s Cavman’s Crew program can take advantage of a special offer to purchase $19 tickets located in Scott Stadium’s lower level south end zone sections. Cavman’s Crew is free to join and open to all youth in eighth grade and under. Cavman’s Crew members receive a complimentary t-shirt and a book of seven vouchers that can be redeemed for free admission to select Virginia home athletics events in addition to other benefits. Single game and Family Package tickets are on sale for this game. There are also group tickets for sale to groups of 20 or more people. Fans can purchase tickets online at VirginiaSports.com.
