CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – In a fall tradition, Virginia men’s lacrosse head coach Dom Starsia announced team award winners from the 2013 season. Scott McWilliams headlines the honorees as the winner of the Allen Voshell Award for Team MVP.

“We can be very proud of the leadership and determination of the 2013 Virginia men’s lacrosse team,” said Starsia. “ The success of an athletic team is ultimately determined by the willingness to sacrifice, the commitment and the consistent unyielding effort of its participants. Our 2013 team came to work every day, improved steadily throughout the season and played for the conference championship on the final day.”

The Class of ’99 Unsung Heron Award went to Jacob Ghitelman, while the Doyle Smith Award for highest GPA went to Conor McGee, who registered a 3.7 GPA in the McIntire School of Commerce.
