CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 5 Virginia field hockey team (14-2, 2-2 ACC) closes out the weekend slate by hosting William & Mary (5-7, 2-1 CAA) on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 1 p.m.

Virginia is coming off a 1-0 double-overtime victory on Friday over No. 6 Boston College. Kelsey LeBlanc tipped in a shot from Lucy Hyams 3:24 into the second overtime to break the deadlock. Virginia outshot BC 26-8 in the game. It was the Cavaliers second overtime victory of the season.

William & Mary is coming off a 1-0 loss to Richmond on Friday.

The Cavaliers and the Tribe faced one another in a preseason exhibition contest in August. Virginia leads the all-time series, 26-14-2 and has won the last three meetings.

Immediately following that game, No. 6 Boston College (10-3) will take on Longwood (5-7, 3-0 NorPac) in a neutral site game at Turf Field.The Cavaliers will play their final regular-season home game of the year on Friday, Oct. 18 when they host Duke at 6 p.m. at Turf Field. Admission is free for all 2013 Virginia field hockey regular-season home games.
