UVa Track Closing for Resurfacing

Charlottesville, Va. – The Virginia athletics department announced today the track at Lannigan Field will be closed starting Thursday, Oct. 31 until the end of December due to a resurfacing project.

The perimeter loop, a 573-yard soft surface path which encircles Lannigan Field, will remain open to the public during the resurfacing project. The perimeter loop is available for public use Monday through Friday from dawn to 10 a.m., from noon to 2 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. On weekends, the perimeter loop is available to the public from dawn to 10 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to dusk.

An alternative area at the University for runners and walkers is The Park at North Grounds.
