CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Virginia completed its fall women’s tennis season Sunday (Nov. 10) at the UNC Invite.

Senior Li Xi (Kunming, China), sophomores Stephanie Nauta (Galveston, Texas) and Maci Epstein (Winter Park, Fla.) and freshman Marie Faure (Toulouse, France) played singles matches today.

Faure beat VCU’s Salome Kvitschvili 6-4, 1-6, 1-0(4) to post Virginia’s lone win. Xi lost 6-4, 6-3 to No. 31 Caroline Price of North Carolina and Epstein lost 6-3, 6-3 to No. 92 Tessa Lyons of UNC. Nauta dropped a 6-3, 6-0 decision to VCU’s Yukato Noi.

The Cavaliers return to action at William & Mary on Jan. 15.
