UVa Track Reopened Following Resurfacing Project

CHARLOTTESVILLE – The Virginia athletics department announced today the track at Lannigan Field will reopen Tuesday, Nov. 26, following a resurfacing project the past three weeks.
The track is available for public use Monday through Friday from dawn to 10 a.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. On weekends, the track is available to the public from dawn to 10 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to dusk.
The hours for the perimeter loop, a 573-yard soft surface path which encircles Lannigan Field, remain the same. The perimeter loop is available for public use Monday through Friday from dawn to 10 a.m., from noon to 2 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. On weekends, the perimeter loop is available to the public from dawn to 10 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to dusk.
Scheduled events at the facility will impact the scheduled times the public can access the track and perimeter loop. Notice of upcoming events will be posted at the facility entrance.
