CHARLOTTESVILLE – Virginia women’s tennis head coach Mark Guilbeau has named sophomores Julia Elbaba (Oyster Bay, N.Y.) and Stephanie Nauta (Galveston, Texas) as additional captains for the 2013-14 season. Elbaba and Nauta join senior Caryssa Peretz (Cherry Hill, N.J.) as tri-captains for the rest of the season.

The sophomores guided the Cavaliers to their third-straight NCAA round of 16 appearance last season, playing at the top of the singles and doubles lineup much of the season.

Elbaba was named ITA National Freshman of the Year, ITA All-America and All-ACC after posting a 35-12 singles record and 29-8 doubles mark in 2012-13.
