Freshmen Andrew Brown and Jacob Fieler are members of the UVa Football Class of 2014. They will drop by Wahoo Central Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 5:30 p.m. ET to chat with UVa fans about their recruiting experiences, life as first-years on Grounds and the football team’s off-season conditioning.

Wahoo Central Moderator: Welcome to tonight’s Wahoo Central Chat with Andrew Brown and Jake Fieler. We are going to get started here. |

| Joe (Richmond, Va.): Andrew and Jake: At what point did you realize that you are not in high school anymore? |
 |
|
Andrew Brown: I realized I wasn’t in high school anymore when I had to catch a bus to get to class and I was a second too late. I missed the bus and they left without me. I still made it to class on time though. |

Jake Fieler: I realized I wasn’t in high school anymore a little earlier than Andrew. I realized when I started military boarding school in August. My welcome to college moment though was realizing how I had to keep up with my teachers and assignments online and through email. That was a new experience for me. |

| Brian O: What do you guys like most about the scenery on Grounds? |
|
|
Andrew Brown: I really enjoy walking by the Rotunda each day. I appreciate the history of that building as a centerpiece of the University. |
|
|
|
Jake Fieler: I really like how they have kept the classic feel of Thomas Jefferson’s design throughout Grounds. |
|
|
| Billy (Charlottesville): For Fieler … Jake or JacobAnd, are you a bit sad you won’t be able to block for graduating fullback Billy Skrobacz next season? |
|
|
Jake Fieler: Jake works. I have heard of the legend of Billy Skrobacz and its always a little sad when you don’t have a chance to play with a legend. |
|
|
| Laura (Richmond): We saw Quin Blanding rocking the blue and orange bow tie today. Do you have your bow ties ready to go for when you get to Grounds? |
|
|
Jake Fieler: I have zero bow ties, but I hear its a must have at UVa. I may have to follow Dean Groves’ lead. We will see. |

|
Andrew Brown: I have a bow tie, not in UVa colors yet. I do tend to get a little snazzy every now and then. Add some personality to the dress. |

| Percy (Charlottesville, VA): Andrew and Jake, can you talk about how beneficial coming to UVa early has been for you thus far? |
|
|
Andrew Brown: Coming in early has definitely given us an edge in the weight room. |
|
|
|
Jake Fieler: Weight room for sure, I would also add adjusting to college classes, knowing where the buildings are and getting the bus schedule down. |
|

| Ed (Kansas City): Jake and Drew, thank you for choosing to play at UVa. Best of luck to both of you and the team in 2014. My question is what was the most unique correspondence you received during the recruiting process? Either the item , the message or the method? |

|
Andrew Brown: Experiencing my first football game at the University of Virginia was a very unique experience that I will never forget. Now I am looking forward to playing many games there! |
|
|
|
Jake Fieler: My recruitment to UVa went pretty quickly. The whole process was a pretty surreal experience. |
|
|
|

| Michelle (Charlottesville): What are you most excited for this upcoming season? |
|
|
Jake Fieler: I can’t wait to run out of the tunnel at Scott Stadium for the first time. That will be a tremendous experience for me. |
|
|
|
Andrew Brown: Mirroring what Jake said, I also can’t wait to emerge from the smoke on gameday at Scott Stadium. I also am looking forward to be able to look up into the stands and see my family, the people have supported me from day one. |
|
