Charlottesville, Va. – The start time of the Virginia men’s basketball game vs. Maryland on Monday, Feb. 10 has been moved to 9 p.m. from its original tip-off time of 7 p.m. The game will now be broadcast on ESPNU.

The game time has been moved back due to anticipated traffic and impacts of United States President Barack Obama and French President Francois Hollande’s visit to Monticello that day. Monticello is the historic estate of Thomas Jefferson.

Fans attending the game should be prepared for potential traffic delays in the Charlottesville area between 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Gates at John Paul Jones Arena will open at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets may be purchased online at VirginiaSports.com/tickets. Fans may also purchase tickets through the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office by telephone and in person. The ticket office is located in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium and open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Telephone purchases can be made by calling 1-800-8821 or locally at 434-924-8821.

Public parking for home men’s basketball games is available for $5 at the Emmet/Ivy Parking Garage. Complimentary parking is available at the lots at North Grounds and at The Park. A free shuttle service is available from The Park.
