CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia junior linebacker Henry Coley, senior defensive end Jake Snyder, junior punter/placekicker Alec Vozenilek and senior strong safety Rijo Walker have been named to the 2013 Atlantic Coast Conference All-Academic Football Team, as announced by league commissioner John Swofford.

This is the second career ACC All-Academic accolades for Coley (Virginia Beach, Va.) and Snyder (Glen Allen, Va.), who are repeats from the 2012 squad. The honor is the first career nod for Vozenilek (Richmond, Va.) and Walker (Hampton, Va.). The ACC has selected an ACC All-Academic Team every year since 1954, and with the addition of the foursome, UVa has had 204 Cavaliers earn such honors since the awards inception.

Coley led UVa with 91 tackles, including 10 tackles for a loss. Snyder led all UVa defensive linemen with 55 tackles and was No. 4 on the team. Vozenilek averaged 41.2 yards per punt and finished 12-of-15 on field goal attempts, including hitting his last six in a row. Walker finished the season with 27 tackles and forced one fumble.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career. All 14 ACC schools were represented by at least one selection to the team.
