team-logo-va.gif spacer.gif Wahoo Central Moderator: Welcome to today’s Wahoo Central Chat with Eli Harold. We are going to get started.
Rob Sheehy (Richmond): What does the team have to do to maintain focus?
10317529.jpeg spacer.gif Eli Harold: We need to keep doing what we are doing to maintain focus. That is at practice, weight room, film study and never be satisfied.

Connor (Williamsburg): What do you believe will be the keys to success against a very good BYU team on the road?

p.s. I believe in you guys. Stay hungry. Get that W.

10317529.jpeg spacer.gif Eli Harold: First and foremost we need to stop the run and put them in third down and long situations. Thank you for the support Connor.
Chuck (Lexington): Eli, which NFL D-End do you model your game after? BEAT BYU!
10317529.jpeg spacer.gif Eli Harold: Brian Orakpo from the Washington Redskins.
Jane: Eli, when was the last time you played a road game out west? Have you ever played as far away as BYU? Any concerns as it relates to that?
10317529.jpeg spacer.gif Eli Harold: The farthest west I have played was in Texas. Once for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in high school. Then my freshman year we played at TCU. Playing out west does not differ from a road game on the East Coast. Its all the same when you play in a visiting stadium.
Ginger In Roanoke: How was the crowd noise Saturday? Did we do our jobs as fans? Good Luck.
10317529.jpeg spacer.gif Eli Harold: You all did great! It was loud out there and we appreciate the support.
Jill (Richmond): Why do you think the players only meeting was necessary for the team?
10317529.jpeg spacer.gif Eli Harold: Because we relate to each other. We need to talk to each other and keep each other accountable. We don’t want to be complacent and never be satisfied. Three years in a row we started 2-0, 2-1, 2-1. The first two years it didn’t end well. We want to change that.
Matt Golladay (Richmond): What is your favorite way to pump up the crowd??
10317529.jpeg spacer.gif Eli Harold: Throwing my hands up.
Brandon (Richmond): Hill seems to have stepped up his game since last year, what is the game plan going into Saturday to shutting him down?
10317529.jpeg spacer.gif Eli Harold: Force him to beat us with his arm, because he is dangerous with his feet.
John: Do you think BYU will bring a little something extra after the tough defeat last year in C’ville? Good luck in Provo!
10317529.jpeg spacer.gif Eli Harold: I think BYU will play with a chip on its shoulder. Because I feel that they look at the game as one they should have won. They will definitely be up for this game and so will we.
Jeremy: Are y’all ready for the game on Saturday? What have y’all done that would have gotten y’all ready for it?
10317529.jpeg spacer.gif Eli Harold: We have had another great week at practice. Now its just time to execute.
Jeff in Rocky Mount: I have a strong belief that this team has turned the corner. How do you guys feel about the lack of respect you get? Wahoowa!!!
10317529.jpeg spacer.gif Eli Harold: Use it as motivation each and every day.
Jenna (Charlottesville): Eli, what is your favorite place on Grounds?
10317529.jpeg spacer.gif Eli Harold: I was able to get inside the Rotunda before it was shut down for the current refurbishment project. l love the history of UVa that originated inside that building and the Academical Village.
Jill (Charlottesville): What is your favorite uniform combination that we have?
10317529.jpeg spacer.gif Eli Harold: I loved the throwback uniforms we wore in 2012.
Kevin (Charlottesville): What is your favorite pre game meal?
10317529.jpeg spacer.gif Eli Harold: I don’t like eating a lot on the day of game, but the Friday night meals are amazing. I indulge on Friday night.
Mark: Henry Coley seems like a fantastic leader. What is it like to play with a guy like him? What have you learned from him? Good luck on Saturday!
10317529.jpeg spacer.gif Eli Harold: Henry is a very passionate guy. I tend to feed off of his energy. I have learned that no matter what goes wrong – to keep your head up and keep fighting. I love Henry.
Kevin (Charlottesville): Which professional athlete would you like to be for the day
10317529.jpeg spacer.gif Eli Harold: LeBron James.
Carmen (Charlottesville): What would you like to see the students do to support the football program?
10317529.jpeg spacer.gif

Eli Harold: Wear your Orange and Blue. It would be cool to coordinate our fans with the colors we are wearing on the field.

On another note. When I sacked the Louisville QB near the end of the game. The place got very loud. I want to have that continue from our fans. It was great.

Cory (Charlottesville): If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
10317529.jpeg spacer.gif Eli Harold: I love the Hulk. So I would want unlimited strength.
