Virginia Women's Lacrosse Announces 2014 Fall Schedule

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia women’s lacrosse team announced its fall training schedule with the Cavaliers slated to play two home scrimmages in October.
As part of the preparation for the 2014 season, the Cavaliers will play unofficial scrimmages on five dates during its fall training schedule, including two contests to be played in Charlottesville at the University Hall Turf Field. Virginia will host Richmond on Wednesday, Oct. 1 and James Madison on Wednesday, Oct. 22. Both contests will begin at 7 p.m.
Additionally, the Cavaliers will take on Georgetown (Sept. 27), Florida (Oct. 4), John Hopkins (Oct. 25) and Maryland (Oct. 25) at road sites.
All of the scrimmages will be open to the public and fans are invited to get a sneak peak at the 2015 team, including the nation’s eighth-ranked recruiting class.
