CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 3 Virginia field hockey team (10-2, 4-0 ACC) will host Ohio State (3-7, 0-3 Big Ten) on Sunday, Oct. 5 at 1 p.m. at Turf Field in Charlottesville, Va. Admission is free for all of Virginia’s regular-season home field hockey games.
Live streaming video for the game will be available through the VirginiaSports.com website with a Cavaliers Live subscription.
The ACC-leading Cavaliers have won nine-straight games, including winning 2-1 at No. 1 North Carolina on Friday night (Oct. 3). Ohio State fell 6-0 at No. 2 Maryland Friday night.
Virginia is 1-2 against Big Ten teams this season, having defeated Rutgers, but fallen to Iowa and Penn State.
The Cavaliers are 10-1 all-time against the Buckeyes and have won the last five meetings.
Next weekend, the Cavaliers will play at Richmond on Friday night (Oct. 10) before returning home to begin a three-game home stand by hosting No. 16 Wake Forest on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 1 p.m. at Turf Field.
