CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia junior All-Americans Julia Elbaba and Danielle Collins earned wild card selections to the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships, held Nov. 6-9 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y.

Elbaba and Collins join junior teammate Stephanie Nauta (Galveston, Texas) in the singles main draw. Nauta earned an automatic berth after winning the Atlantic Regional singles title last week in Blacksburg, Va. Elbaba, who is currently competing at the $50K John Newcombe Women’s Pro Challenge, has posted a 7-2 fall collegiate record. Collins, the reigning NCAA singles champion, will make her season debut at the event. Nauta is a sparkling 13-3.

Junior transfer Skylar Morton (Bethesda, Md.) and freshman Cassie Mercer (Huntington, W.Va.) will compete in the national indoor doubles championships after claiming the Atlantic Regional title. The duo has posted a 9-2 record.
