CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.-The Virginia volleyball team travels north for its final two regular-season matches this week. The Cavaliers (16-13, 9-7 ACC) play at Boston College on Wednesday (Nov. 26) at 1 p.m. and then take on Syracuse on Friday (Nov. 28) at 7 p.m.

The Cavaliers went 1-1 last weekend at Memorial Gymnasium, defeating Georgia Tech, 3-1, on Friday (Nov. 21) before falling to Pitt, 3-1, on Sunday (Nov. 23). UVa finished its home schedule with a 9-3 record, its highest home winning percentage (.750) since 2006.

Junior Lauren Fuller (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) is third in the ACC with 10.62 assists per set, while fellow junior Natalie Bausback (Carlsbad, Calif.) is eighth in the conference with a .347 hitting percentage.

BC (11-16, 6-10 ACC) was swept by both Florida State and Miami last weekend. Katty Workman leads the Eagles with 3.70 kills per set. UVa leads the all-time series, 14-3, and won last year’s meeting, 3-2, in Charlottesville.

Syracuse (8-20, 1-15 ACC) is currently on an eight-match losing streak after being swept by both Florida State and Miami last weekend. Silvi Uattara leads the Orange with 3.56 kills per set. The all-time series is tied, 3-3, with Syracuse winning last season’s matchup, 3-1.
