Tickets on Sale for Virginia-Georgetown NCAA Quarterfinal Match

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Tickets are on sale now for the NCAA Quarterfinal match between Virginia and Georgetown on Saturday (Dec. 6) at Shaw Field in Washington, D.C. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance as this match is expected to sell out.

Tickets are $5 each for all guests ages three and up (children two and under are free). All seating at Shaw Field (capacity 1,625) is general admission.

Fans can purchase tickets online through the Georgetown ticket office.

All tickets purchased in advance will be available for pick up at will call on the day of the game. Will call will open up at noon (one hour prior to the start of the game) and will remain open until halftime.

The No. 16 team in the field, Virginia (12-6-4) advanced to the quarterfinals after upsetting top-seeded Notre Dame, 1-0, Sunday evening in Notre Dame, Ind. The Hoyas (14-4-4), the No. 8 seed, moved into the quarterfinals with a 3-2 overtime victory over No. 9-seeded Syracuse on Sunday at Shaw Field. This marks Virginia’s first visit to Georgetown since the 1997 season and is just the fourth match between the two sides in the last 17 years.
