CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The 10th-ranked Virginia wrestling team competes in its final dual before the holiday break at 2 p.m. Saturday when it travels to Bucknell to compete against the Bison at Davis Gym.

The Latest on the Cavaliers
Virginia is 5-1 in its dual schedule and is competing in its first dual since Nov. 24 in a loss against Ohio State. UVa is coming off an eighth-place finish on Dec. 6 at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational. Nick Sulzer (R-Sr., Cleveland, Ohio) won the 165-pound championship and remains unbeaten at 10-0 this season. Blaise Butler (R-Jr., Belvidere, Ill.) upset top-ranked Logan Storley of Minnesota en route to a runner-up finish at 174 pounds.

The Cavaliers are 8-2 all-time against Bucknell; the teams wrestled last season in Charlottesville with UVa scoring a 29-12 win.

Noting Bucknell
Bucknell is wrestling in its home opener and owns an 0-1 dual record this year, with a 22-11 loss at Pitt in November. The Bison took 25th place at the Las Vegas Invitational in their last action. A pair of Bucknell wrestlers are ranked in the latest InterMat rankings: No. 16 Paul Petrov at 125 and No. 19 Joe Stolfi at heavyweight.

After the holiday break, the Cavaliers return to competition Jan. 1-2 at the Southern Scuffle in Chattanooga, Tenn. UVa next will compete in dual action Jan. 9-10 when it heads to Hampton, Va., for the Virginia Duals.
