CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.-Three Virginia volleyball student-athletes have been named to the Virginia all-state teams, the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) announced Friday (Dec. 19). Junior Lauren Fuller (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) was named to the first team, while junior Natalie Bausback (Carlsbad, Calif.) and sophomore Jasmine Burton (West Hills, Calif.) were honored on the second team.

Fuller and Burton were honored by VaSID for the second consecutive season. Fuller was named to the first team last year, while Burton was named the Virginia State Rookie of the Year and honored on the second team in 2013.

Fuller dished out a total of 1,329 assists and ranked third in the ACC with 10.62 assists per set. She also ranked fourth on the Cavaliers with 240 digs while adding 23 aces and 50 blocks. Fuller was named to the all-tournament team at the Cavalier Classic in September and was honored on the All-ACC Second Team.

Bausback led the Cavaliers in hitting percentage at .368, the second-highest single-season mark in UVa history. The junior also led UVa with a 119 blocks and was named the tournament MVP of both the Marshall Thunder Invitational and the Cavalier Classic.

Burton ranked second on the squad with 2.87 kills per set and third on the team with a .275 hitting percentage. She tied for the lead on the team with 19 matches with double-digit kills. For her efforts, Burton was named to the All-ACC Second Team.

The Cavaliers concluded the season with a 17-14 record and a 10-8 ACC record, finishing in a tie for sixth place.
