Kolod Finals in Two Events at USA Diving Winter Nationals

COLUMBUS, Ohio-Senior Virginia diver JB Kolod made two finals at the 2014 USA Diving Winter National Championships in Columbus, Ohio.

Kolod (Pittsburgh, Pa.) placed sixth in the 3-meter finals with a total score of 1197.80 after being seventh in prelims and eighth in the semifinals. Junior Carl Buergler (Arlington, Va.) finished 21st in prelims.

Kolod finished seventh in synchronized 3-meter finals with teammate Ryan Hawkins with 683.76 points. The duo was in eighth after prelims.

In the 1-meter prelims, Kolod placed 23rd with 312.35 points, while Buergler was 29th with a mark of 271.60.
