CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – No. 3 Virginia (11-0) closes out non-conference regular season action against Davidson (9-1) on Tuesday, Dec. 30. Tipoff at John Paul Jones Arena is set for 6 p.m. The game is sold out.

For Openers
• Virginia (11-0) seeks its first 12-0 start since 1981-82.
• A win over Davidson would give Virginia its fourth undefeated non-conference regular season since joining the ACC in 1953-54 (1978, 1982 and 2001).
• UVa leads the nation in scoring defense at 46.2 points per game, while Davidson leads the nation in scoring at 87.7 points per game.
• The Cavaliers have shot 50 percent or better for four consecutive games, their longest streak since five games in 1990-91.
• UVa has held opponents under 70 points in a nation-leading 17 consecutive contests.
• UVa owns the nation’s eighth-longest home winning streak at 17 games.

UVa Ranked in Top 10 For Nine Straight Weeks
• UVa is ranked No. 3 in the latest Associated Press and USA Today coaches polls.
• The Cavaliers have been ranked in the top 10 for the first nine weeks of the season for the first time since 1982-83.
• The No. 9 AP preseason ranking was UVa’s best since a No. 1 ranking to start the 1982-83 season.

Series History
• UVa sports an 11-4 mark, including a 6-2 mark in Charlottesville, against Davidson in the series that dates back to 1920-21.
• UVa has a seven-game winning streak against the Wildcats, including a 70-57 win last season in Charlotte, N.C.
• The Cavaliers will meet Davidson in Charlottesville for the first time since Jan. 21, 1991, and for the first time at John Paul Jones Arena.
• Virginia has defeated Davidson by 13 or more points in each of the last three contests.

• Mike Tobey tallied 15 points and 10 rebounds and Malcolm Brogdon added 15 points as Virginia defeated Harvard 76-27 on Dec. 21.

• Justin Anderson added 12 points and Akil Mitchell had 11 as the Cavaliers outscored Davidson, 36-8, in the paint.
• Mitchell added nine rebounds as UVa outrebounded Davidson 42-30.
