CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – No. 10 Virginia hosts No. 9 Georgia in non-conference women’s tennis action on Monday, Feb. 2. First serve at Boar’s Head Sports Club is set for 6 p.m.

The Cavaliers (3-1) play their second consecutive Southeastern Conference opponent after defeating No. 21 South Carolina 5-2 on Jan. 30. Virginia is 0-2 all-time against the Bulldogs, who edged the Cavaliers 4-3 last season in the last meeting between the teams.

Juniors Julia Elbaba (Oyster Bay, N.Y.) and 2014 NCAA singles champion Danielle Collins (St. Petersburg, Fla.) returned to the UVa lineup against South Carolina after missing the Utah and Baylor matches.

In the ITA singles rankings, Elbaba is ranked No. 1, while Stephanie Nauta (Galveston, Texas) is ranked No. 16 and Collins is ranked No. 42. Juniors Skylar Morton (Bethesda, Md.) and Maci Epstein (Winter Park, Fla.) lead the Cavaliers with 3-1 dual singles records.

Morton and freshman Cassie Mercer (Huntington, W.Va.) are ranked No. 11 nationally in doubles, and Elbaba and Nauta are ranked No. 22.

No. 19 Laura Herring, No. 83 Silvia Garcia and No. 91 Hannah King the Bulldogs (3-1), who have posted wins over Samford, Auburn and Clemson. Ellen Perez and Mariana Gould are ranked No. 43 in doubles.
