CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.–The Virginia softball team travels to Harrisonburg, Va., Wednesday (March 4) to face James Madison in a doubleheader set for a 4 p.m. start.

The Cavaliers (4-14, 1-2 ACC) opened their ACC schedule last weekend, going 1-2 against Pitt in Florence, S.C. Sophomore Kaitlin Fitzgerald (Placentia, Calif.) leads the team with a .409 batting average, while freshman Allison Davis (Oak Hill, Va.) paces the squad with 19 runs, 19 RBI and is tied for the team lead with four home runs.

JMU (7-5) went 2-1 at the Citrus Classic in Orlando, Fla., last weekend. Megan Good leads the Dukes with a .417 batting average and is 4-0 with a 0.93 ERA in the circle.

Virginia leads the all-time series with JMU, 23-15, but the Dukes swept a doubleheader last year in Charlottesville.

The Cavaliers return to action this weekend when they host Georgia Tech Saturday and Sunday (March 7-8).
